Ontstaan van de hoeve

De geschiedenis van Vlaendrenhof gaat terug tot de 19e eeuw, toen de eerste generatie van de familie Smits zich in het Peelgebied vestigde en het land begon te ontginnen. Het gebied rond Beringe bestond toen grotendeels uit heide, akkers en kleine boerderijen die stap voor stap werden ontwikkeld tot landbouwgrond.

Door hard werk en generaties van boeren werd de plek langzaam uitgebouwd tot een volwaardig boerenbedrijf.

Origins of the farm

The history of Vlaendrenhof dates back to the 19th century, when the first generation of the Smits family settled in the Peel region and began cultivating the land. At that time, the area around Beringe consisted largely of heathland, fields, and small farms that were gradually developed into agricultural land.

Through hard work and generations of farmers, the site was gradually expanded into a fully fledged farm.
